Christmas

Now that Christmas 2010 has come and gone, Ashley has decided to make her "wish list" for next Christmas.  On the top of that list??  A phone!  Seriously, a 3 yr. old wants a phone... oh boy.

Even though Thanksgiving comes first, we are asked daily whether it's Christmas yet.  The threat of "Santa won't come if you're bad" works every now and then.  It used to work a lot more...

Is it Halloween yet?

For almost 1 month now, all we've been hearing is, "Is it Halloween yet?  Can we go trick-or-treating tonight?  I want CANDY!"  This year Maddie will be a cheerleader and Ashley will be a pirate girl (without the hat because she hates it).

First Day of School...

Both girls started new schools this year.  Maddie is attending Ellen Browning Scripps Elementary School and Ashley is attending The Growing Place Montessori.  The schools are only minutes from our house -- huge difference from last year!

Hawaii - August 2010

We vacationed in Maui for a week with Tom's family.  We stayed together in this phenomenal house in a gated community that had 5 bedrooms, private pool, and picturesque views.
